“World of Sleepers”, from the World of Sleepers Album, is a song by a Swedish duo calling themselves Carbon based Lifeforms. The album mixes together deep and gentle beats layered with organic sounds and sublime messages of earth awareness.
The few words in this particular song for me, draws on the deep realization that western society is indeed “slowly crawling in the dark”; civilized humans are for the majority in a slumber, as if overdosed on generic sleep aids, unable to coherently adapt to the cries of an unhealthy planet.
The fitful individual is riddled with fear and if awakened to re-connect with higher consciousness, the feeling of being trapped and overwhelmed is instantaneous. Either not willing to accept reality or too weighed down by the toxicity of their environment, if unprotected and unsupported, often they return to being, “swallowed by the seductive night”.
The feeling I have when I listen to this song is that each day as it passes, only shadows the last with the clarity that two worlds are gathering more distance, the unconscious collective is fast separating from the conscious collective.
How to flash a light for a moments glance at the TRUTH; our earth cannot sustain in this way and changes which will affect masses of people are coming. It is plain to see, it is just whether you choose to see it.
Disasters increase, though most are not natural, instigated by human created mechanical systems under false theories of trying to help the planet. If this is the case, then why are humans more toxic and disease-ridden? Why are plants so sick that man cannot maintain the vocabulary to keep naming new forms of plagues raiding and destroying forests and crop fields? Why are animals and pests fast becoming mutations of each other?
“My torch has burnt out” … I say do not falter, make an effort to find TRUTH, as we are in the era of TRUTH. Poke some holes in the tunnel so as to widen your peripheral. The answers are out there. The choice is yours and the minute you question your surroundings the path will come clear and you will know which way to go. Within any overwhelming circumstance lies a way out. Our role is to TRUST, find FAITH and see the TRUTH. Do not fear that the way out means an unattainable physical change, as well. Accept that this change which needs to made by you, as an individual, is beyond general human comprehension and our role is simply to TRUST, have FAITH and TRUTH will indeed reveal itself.
Like any addiction it takes looking hard in the mirror and accepting that there is a problem. A life of convenient living with superficial spending, on non-existent currency over saturated desires, is on its way out. Those unprepared are going to need more than sleeping pills to pass out of their life.
