Mary Lee Weir was born of Belizian/American parents and raised on the tranquil beaches of both the islands of the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Her profound interest in photography began at a very young age and has remained a fixed driving force in her life, bridging her life’s work with her innate artistic passion.
In 2003, due to personal life changes, Mary Lee left the corporate world and began travelling. Bringing her media expertise to many non-profit organizations and self-help groups, she enabled them to gain recognition, support, and money for their respective projects.
She has traveled extensively throughout the America’s, Europe, and India gaining meaningful insight into the lives and cultures of all those she has met.
Mary Lee is now concentrating on such projects as Sustainable Community Development using ancient Vedic techniques based on Homa Therapy, and women's self-help projects.
This deeply passionate mission was ignited by her several years of travelling extensively as a Homa Therapy volunteer, teaching techniques based on ancient Vedic Science to farmers and village women in widespread areas of Peru and India. Mary Lee was first introduced to this ancient method in Lima, Peru, in 2003, where she underwent a deep personal healing from the Sacred Fires of Agnihotra, just weeks after a near death experience.
Having undergone such a life-altering experience, the realization was born that this is a perfect opportunity to utilize the medium of film and photography to bring universal awareness to the solutions that will help neutralize pollution in the air, soil and water of our planet. This work has generated international enthusiasm and permits her to integrate a “one with nature” life-path into her own life’s passion and work. The timing and incorporation of such uplifting projects can only be a great benefit in the ecological battle to bring human beings back into harmony with Mother Nature.
In 2010, Mary Lee founded Satya Media Group, a groundbreaking enterprise, which understands, encourages, and empowers alternative healing therapies through the use of digital medias.
When not on production Mary Lee spends her time as a volunteer teaching Homa Therapy. Find out what Doctors, Therapists, Scientists, Farmers, and regular Folks from all over the world discover after practicing this simple and unique rejuvenation method from Ancient Vedic Science.
